Review #1, by forsakenphoenix The Healing Process

15th January 2012:
Oh, this was so terribly sad. War is always difficult to write and you've done a wonderful job explaining how devastated they are afterwards, but still with hope that things will be better. I loved that they were all together, holding onto each other, and George has accepted that Fred is gone. When Angelina said to remember them all as heroes - you wrote it with an apostrophe instead, but it should be plural like 'heroes.'

A few times you also wrote canon terms that should be capitalized, like Death Eaters and the Fat Lady. Just as an FYI. :)

I thought the song you chose was perfect, as well. It makes me feel hope for the future. Nicely done.

Author's Response: Hello!

I was trying to catch the devastated edge of war, and how even in those dark times, there is hope. I'm glad it came across well and that you enjoyed reading!

I guess I will have to go through and edit some stuff in this story...I honestly haven't really looked at it since posting, but it can for sure get on my 'to edit' list!

Thank so much for the review!

This is a really nice little song fic. You captured their pain really well and I liked how they all came together to heal. There were some really nice dialogue at the end too.

The interaction between Ginny and Harry was really nice. I liked Ginny's vulnerability and the way Harry was so comforting to her.

There were a few minor typo's, like 'there' instead of 'their', but generally spelling and grammar were quite good. Well done. It was an enjoyable little read.

Author's Response: Hello!

Thanks! This was a fun one to write. I like dark emotions, and this one takes them in sort of a different way. But I'm glad you like it! And I haven't revently gone through to edit this one, so maybe I should get to editing it.Well, thanks for reading and reviewing!

Review #3, by Ginnygal The Healing Process

I love the song! It's the perfect song for songfics based on pre/ post-battle fics.

10/10

Author's Response: I thought that it was a good place to have that song. Post-battle fics do well with this song. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
