Wow, what a great story! I love that Harry goes from being ready to give up on the world, his journey, and everyone from finding hope and getting his faith back in what he was meant to do. It was so uplifting and I love the way you go into this moment from DHs and add more depth to it and to see just how Harry was feeling and why he had been turning so cranky. A beautiful read… I enjoyed this a lot!

Author's Response: Oh, I'm so glad you think so. There was so little JKR didn't cover in that chapter, that it didn't leave me a lot of space to write what I wanted to. So that people think I did it well makes me very happy. Thanks so much!

This was a lovely little filler piece. I think you described Harry's actions/thoughts well when he was wearing the locket, as we know how the locket made them feel. The song lyrics worked so well with the piece, you worked them together with the storyline perfectly. I loved the little details you added in, like hearing Hermione's breathing in the tent, it really helped set the scene. Well done!
