Good chapter, but it's really different from your other work. Well, update soon, and great chapter! I like Aceline. She seemes unsure of herself and just follows other peoples orders. She seems like a daddy's girl, though. Is that the image you were trying to send?

Ok, I'm not going to say that this attempt at a darker fic is crap -because it is definitly not!
I know it's difficult to balance fanfics and you know...real life...but this story is really compelling! I want to know what happens to Ace (as you just know she'll always be called) and what happens to Sirius.
You can tell their relationship is different from his interactions with other 'purebloods'
love the fact that Ace is an unconvinced follower of covnention. I don't hold much hope for a happy ending -darker fics have a habit of being, well...dark- but I'm positivly certain you will do the plot justice.

10/10 for originality, snappy dialogue and really interesting characterisation
