Alas, I don't even know what to say, except that I'm feeling inexplicably giddy from that read! Great praises, first of all, are in order for your contributions to the lacklustre and dismally meagre collection of founderfic on this site; there's little enough of it on HPFF, and I find great cause for celebration when I discover one that does not center itself on the subject of Hogwarts' foundation and the treachery of Slytherin.

I will admit, I have not read a Salazar/Helga before. I'm a devout shipper of Salazar/Godric, from every possible angle and characterization of them - but, I find myself quite happily drawn to the potention connection between Helga and Salazar. Really, all of them are such delightful characters to give shape to; while yours keep firm ties to what little canon information there is of them, the Helga and Salazar you've spun take on a life of their own. Helga is adorable, and perfect for your Salazar. Even Rowena and Godric, absent from the main action itself, took great character. I tremendously enjoyed the dandelion custom as well, which I've never before heard of - but I already feel the great desire to allude to it in some future writing.

I know what you mean about foundersfic - there's a little more on fanfiction.net, but still NOT ENOUGH, and I am really sick of 'Rowena did the library, Helga did the Room of Requirement, Godric did the Great Hall, Salazar snuck off to build the Chamber, something was attacking the students, Salazar and Godric fought...'
