Wow. this was really well written. I love how you described the feelings and the internal conflicts of Ron and Hermione. I really think you should continue the story :)

Very moving and emotional. But it just stopped. Did Ron survive? The talk of suicide is unsettling.

Poor Hermione; the heart wants what the heart wants. There is no logic or reason in it.

Even if she ends up with Malfoy there will be no joy or happiness in it.

You have written this very well and dealt with complex emotional issues believably. I like this as a one-shot.

Keep writing.
