I like to think how pleased Harry would be that Ginny led such a worthwhile life after his death, being successful at her new career, and being a mum and grandma. He loved Hogwart's so much and it became his family's long term home. I think he would have been tickled pink by Potter's Army, particularly as it was named for Ginny not him.

Really beautiful and touching.

I particularly love how you have slowly reviled all the details through the story rather than delivering them all at once, you slowly show us all the layers and aspects of the scene, and it’s very effective.

I would suggest you remove ‘(A/N carefree, happy)’ from the first line of lyrics, the note at the start is adequate, and it ruins the wonderful flow of your writing.

I love the idea of Ginny loving Harry but being strong enough to make a life for herself without him yet missing him and not replacing him with someone else. I also love the idea of them being reunited after death.

I love the idea of Ginny doing the best with what life has dealt her, loving Harry, never replacing him, living a good life but always waiting to see him again. She is not just an extension of Harry, but a person in her own right.

I think Harry would be tickled pink at Potter's Army.

Hi there, I enjoyed the way you interpreted the song (one of my favs, believe it or not). I don't usually read Harry/Ginny since I wasted money buying JKR's last book, where she never came close to answering half the questions she left hanging through out the series, now I stick to H/Hr, but as I said I did enjoy reading this one.

a very sweet tale of loss and recovery. Nicely drawn, the reader sees Ginny very clearly, not just defined by her love for Harry. Nicely done.

Author's Response: Because JKR created the characters so well, they are all alive and so, even after the books end, the characters continue.

Fan fiction is all about continuing on with the characters and settings we have been so generously given by JKR.
