You write well! Good job!
Although personally I don't really enjoy slashes that much, this one was in fact a pretty good one out of those (few...) I had read.

A lot of people I know don't enjoy slashes; I don't write them often because it makes some people uncomfortable. But I figured, if tastefully done...And it worked! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
