Wow, this story has been on my favorites list for forever and I just noticed that I've never reviewed it! I'm so sorry! I always do that; I add it to my favorites and think that I'll review later, and then I forget.

Anyway, I absolutely love this story. I feel awful for Remus! I love the end; it's sad but so beautifully worded. Well, the whole story is beautifully worded, but especially the end. I especially like: "...that he had been in love with a reflection of something that wasn't really there." I feel like that sentence captures pretty much the entire point of the story.

Also, fantastic song choice. I love love love Neutral Milk Hotel. And 'Naomi' is just so hauntingly beautiful. I remember when I first came across this story, I was so happy, because I never find songfics set to songs that I actually listen to. It was such a (nice) surprise.

I agree that "Naomi" is a really, really beautiful song, and personally, I just love the name Naomi in general xD Too bad I can never name my daughter (if I ever have one) Naomi, since this song-fic pretty much spoiled the name xD
