I think this is completely, well, it's wow. It's dark and irky, I didn't really feel right reading it. It was like crawling into the mess. Characterisation was awesome, right the way through.

Wow. That was so deep and dark and just awesome. Your characterization of Sirius is so...accurate. At least, in my opinion, that is. That's exactly how I think Sirius would act. I'm just in awe right now ::grins::

Very good. I think you got the song just right for this.
But I was under the impression it was originally sung by Johnny Cash.nine inch nails doesn't sound like a band before the 1950/60's you see...

A lot of people make that mistake. In fact, Johnny Cash covered the song in 2002. It was orginally written by Trent Renzor and relasesed on Nine Inch Nails's 1994 album, Downward Spiral. Many people assume it is by Johnny Cash because of the very famous music video he made when he covered the song. (it was named the best video of the year by the Grammy Awards and Country Music Awards)
