Author's Response: working hard on the next chapter now so should be up soon! :-) as with the length i decided to have shorter chapters yet quicker updates, but hopefully when the story gets going they'll be a lil longer!

Great start! I too find the first chapter hard to write because its hard to just do an intro and not go into the story straight away! But you did it brilliantly!
