Review #1, by WannabeWriter Insanity and Blood-Thirsty Goals

6th May 2008:
Wonderful portrayal of Scorpius, different from other versions of him I have read. You have a talent for writing description and making the reader feel the pain and anguish that the character is feeling. Well done! Can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the in-depth review! I'm glad you like how I've characterized Scorpius. I'm working on the next chapter so I hope you stay with me until it's done!

Review #2, by Emazing Insanity and Blood-Thirsty Goals

24th February 2008:
I really like how you've developed Scorpius. It's kinda nice to be able to shape a character into anything you want. The voices that he's cursed with is also a nice touch for such a tortured soul.

About the flashbacks and timing - it's understandable. I actually like how Scorpius is described in his current state and then has the memories. It's good writing technique.

The only thing I'm suggesting is nothing to do with your writing. It's just that Like Father, Like Son is the one-shot prelude to this story right? Well, why not make it a Prologue and include it in this story, rather than have it a one-shot? I don't know, it just makes more sense to me. Well, anyways, I love how this story is going and I'm eager to read more!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review, Em! Glad you're back on!

Anyway, about the one-shot, it was supposedly going to be a first-shot with nothing to go after but then it turned out to have a lot of unexplained details so I added a sequel. Kinda confusing, but there it is!
