Wow, this is just too great! I loved it so much. Your writing flows beautifully, and you portrayed the characters exactly like J.K. would have done, in my opinion. Like several others, I've always wondered what happened to the Malfoys in the first few years after the war.

I write Draco a lot and I really loved this one shot. I thought it was written very well and did a good job of showing the similarities between Narcissa and Draco.

I felt the exchange between Harry & Draco was well handled, alot of the time writers will go over board and have Draco grovelling and pleading which I disagree with entirely. & I also liked how you added in that they would never be friends but just get some form of trust going.

Ron was typically Ron and I could see him responding the way that he did and also Hermione's response was something I could see happening.

A rather realistic portrayal of the Malfoy's seeking and being granted forgiveness which is something I don't see too often.

Good job! 10/10
