Nice and intriguing beginning. We didn't get to see people's reactions to the casualties of the final battle in canon, so it's nice to see that. Harry is quite in character, I think, a bit lost as to what to say or do and feeling slightly guilty, as usual.

I'm glad that Ginny finally hugged him. You have got me intrigued about how this Claire maybe, perhaps an old girlfriend of Remus?

Nicely done. I think you have missed the odd comma or added a d to surprise but nothing major at all.

Claire, hum, she might be an old girlfriend.... but not of Remus. I'm glad you pointed her out.This story will partly revolve around her and her story so I wanted to introduce her in the first chapter even if we don't really see much about her in the following chapters.

Both girls are in Gryffindor. But I agree with you they both fit Hufflepuff as they are very faithful to their friends. But they have also other qualities as Gryffindors that you'll see later.

You wrote this, and I can't help but ask WHICH magical creatures they were... Cenataurs, maybe threstals and unicorns? I'm still reading this so please respond to this!

Author's Response: When I wrote that I was thinking about the three magical creatures (wizards, goblins and elves) that were in the first fountain. Thank you for pointing that out. It would be better for sure in centaurs, unicorns, werevolves, vampires, etc. were also included. I will change it later.
For now, you can imagine that all creatures that have a mind (what we will call thinking creatures) in the magical world are represented in the fountain.
