i love oliver, he's one of my fav characters, and his owl made me think. hmm... i wonder who his secret crush/obsession is... actually, i was thinking that it might be katie, hence his wanting to console her. i know that good friends do that, but not many guy friends do, so i was thinking that either he's an extremely good friend, or he loves her.

but i suppose i'll just have to read to find out won't i. that's ok. i love this story! :D

I clicked on this story thinking it was a CANON George story. The writing is good, but I have always pictured Katie, Alicia, and Angelina as really close. That is the way the books have gone. If Katie dated George, I don't remeber her doing that though, I know Angelina wouldn't have married or dated Katie's man. I think they were all three really the best of friends.

Whoa, I am sorry that you took offense to my review. I think your story is good. It captures Katie's obvious heartbreak. Yes, I DID ask when did George and Katie date because there was nothing to indcate that they had any attraction to each other at all. BUT, this is a FANfic, so you can put whatever you want. I AM happy about George ending up with Angelina. EXTREMELY, but I DO understand how you feel. I would feel the same way if he hadn't ended up with her. I DO feel that way about Neville not ending up with Luna. Again, I wasn't being smart or sarcastic, just wondering if I had missed something. Keep up your good story(:

You just need to be careful about what you say in reviews. If you're going to say you don't like it for whatever reason, you do need to say something about what you do like about the story. It's only common courtesy. You also shouldn't read a story if you know you don't like the pairing, that seems to be common sense to me. I stay away from Dramione because I know I'll say something terrible about it simply because I do not like the pairing. Again, you just need to be careful about what you say in your reviews. (:

When did Katie and George ever date? I think George and Angelina are a good post Fred match. We really don't know how serious Fred and Angelina were. It seems it was only a close friendship, and never got much further. But, even if it did, it makes sense George and Angelina would grieve together, and then a few years later that grief as it subsided would turn to love. They would have that huge bond of loving Fred.

See, that's your opinion and not mine. If you're looking for a George/Angelina story, look elsewhere. I don't like that pairing in the least bit, so I won't be writing that pairing. When you say "When did George and Katie ever date?" we don't know what happened during Hogwarts. I picture that happening during Hogwarts and perhaps a bit after.
