Review #1, by gingersnape Christmas Morning at the Granger-Weasley household

13th December 2012:
Wow. I am highly impressed. Coming from she who just wrote both a Romione and a Bill/Fleur in the last week, I have to say that you have convinced me that Bill/Hermione could work very, very well. Fluff and I are also usually not friends, but I think I could do with only ever reading fluff if it all did it as well as this!

Their witty banter really made this work so well - between Bill's rough sense of humor and Hermione's quick wit, they made quite a pair and were amusing the whole way through. It was hard to see at first, but as their conversations grew, I liked it more and more.

Their presents for each other were ADORABLE! Absolutely perfect for them, and their reactions were the best! The Hogwarts, A History made me especially happy because it brought things full circle with Hermione's growing up, since she had it when she was young and she gets to pass on that love for really big books to her child.

I also really liked how you brought Hermione's pregnancy into this. While it was definitely fluffy, she was very much in character and not overly dramatic about it. The whole way through, she was just generally very in character.

While the beginning was a bit rough as I was getting used to the ship, I liked the story overall and thought it was a great way to open up an unusual ship. Happy holidays!

Review #2, by datbenik513 Christmas Morning at the Granger-Weasley household

27th February 2009:
I swore to myself: No fluff and I ever going to read.
Yet, I simply had to break my oath :)

Pinky, mushy, velvety fluff, candle-light and rose-scent. Again, your trademark totally-off-pairing and you get away with it again :) I could just as well believe Hermione and Bill could form an ideal pair.

In particular, I loved the piece, where a swearing Bill was trying to break through the magical defense Hermione had put on his Christmas present. Nice characterization of Bill, this time the big child.

Number four on my "favourite one-shots" list :)

9/10

Cheers,

Zoltan

Review #3, by Harry101 Christmas Morning at the Granger-Weasley household

12th January 2008:
loved it. and thats huge considering that i cant stand the idea of bill and hermione being together, it has just never been , well 'right' in my opinion. but this story fits. i have recently (and i completely blame 'from a muggles pint of view' for this) discovered a knew found love for bill. (yes i know, being in love with a fictional character, screams weirdo i know) but i just cant get enought of him. I think the hook was when i re-read muggles point of view after i re-read HPDH, i just fell in love with him. and then this story *sigh*, very well done!
so congratualtions because this story fits perfectly, its brilliant, very much bill and hermione! keep writing!

Awww, I loved it. It was so sweet. I absolutely loved how you had Bill acting like a little kid waiting for Christmas. And Hermione teasing him about it was absolutely hilarious. Brilliant as always! 10/10 ~Crystal

Review #5, by emz Christmas Morning at the Granger-Weasley household

30th December 2007:
Oh, wow, Mon. This was gorgeous. Absolutely beautiful. I just ... wow!

You started off brilliantly. You really set the scene of their romance: I've never been a Bill/Hermione shipper but you really did something with it which might make me switch ;) You've got their characters spot on, and even though this is totally AU you've written it in such a way which makes it plausible :D And all that FLUFF! I am, as you should be aware by now, the ULTIMATE Fluff Queen :P It was really lovely.

And Bill! *giggles* such a child at heart! I can just imagine Hermione having a LOT of fun with teasing him about it all :D And she, so in character, so composed and so patient! So Hermione! :P

And the END! Oh my! It was BEAUTIFUL! You heard me the other day on the cbox complaining about how I want a baby, right? :P Haha, well then how could I not LOVE this?! Absolutely adorable.

Aside from these gorgeous ideas, your writing has a style and a fluency that is absolutely astounding. And no mistakes as far as I can see, so I commend you! ;)

This was definitely a 10/10 fanfic, Mon! I loved it!

- Em

Author's Response: Oh Em *blush* That's insanely big praise! Especially coming from the ultimate fluff queen! *bows down to you* ;)

Hee... I'm glad you can see the two together like this. Although I still think you're insane with all that baby talk =P You can borrow mine sometime to get it out of your system hehehe...

Again, thanks a million for this raving review *still blushing*

wow...that was awesome!! I love this kind of ships! It is good to read Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, James/Lily...but, you know, write about other interactions is great! You can see a side of a character that you couldn't see if you stay too canon.
Congratulations! You have done a great great goob!!!

Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much!! It's hard to envisage the characters in such ooc situations and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Happy New Year! =)
