This story, while short, is mystifing and definitely beautiful. You've taken one of the favorite canon pairings and made it believable - not romantically, but still "in love". I admire your work with this story and hope to see more things like it in the future!Author's Response: I'm glad I got the "in love" but not romantically involved idea across. I wrote this piece right after DH came out and was just trying to work through everything we learned about Snape and Lily and their relationship.
