Wow!I have tears in my eyes right now. this is really nice. I absolutely love the fact, that George is talking to Fred all the time, even though he is dead. I thought about that a lot. What happened to George after Freds death? How did George cope with it?
Its a good explaination! Your Story. Good Job! :D

Review #4, by Snuffles Hey, Fred

Holy crud. I can barely see my computer screen through the tears (no lie), but here goes.

I realize this is a very old story, but I'm still going to comment on it just to show how profoundly touching and simply brilliant I found it to be.

God. Fred and George. Fred's death ate me alive. I mean, I don't think a single reader couldn't be affected by his death. I don't think I'll ever fully come to terms with it, myself.

I've always loved the characters of Fred and George, loved their mischief, their twin synchronicity, and also, their deep level of love for their brothers and, by extension, Harry (though they tried not to show this, big tough brutes that they are). You've treated them in such a wonderful fashion, ugh, words cannot even describe how much this really touched me, this one-shot. You definitely deserved the Dobby for this, oh my lord. George's insistence of including Fred in his every day life, his pain and loss of purpose when it first happened, just tore me apart. The tears flowed increasingly as time went on and he began to forget Fred. Perhaps that's not quite right. But he slowly distanced himself from him. Visited less. Got on with his life, as well as he could. The pain never really seemed to go away, though. Heartbreaking, this.

The ending. Oh, the ending. I'm so happy, so so happy, that you let George finally reunite with his brother in death. I managed to smile through the tears at that. Fred and George, free to wreck all kinds of havoc in wizard heaven. Excellent, excellent job.

I don't think I've ever read a more emotional story. This was amazing. I felt like I was stabbed in the gut by sadness so many times. This broke my heart, but it was so beautiful. Thank you for writing this story. You're right- Fred never did get much recognition, and I think you've paid magnificent tribute to him and George. I can't believe I'm getting this worked up over a fictional character- but this story made me feel something real. Fred was probably my favorite character in the series, and it was so sad when he died! Actually, instead of making me feel better, it was more like salt on the wound. Sorry, this is actually a super positive review (see rating), I just have so many feelings after reading this. You are amazing- keep writing! luv, K

Review #9, by and Sirius lives Hey, Fred

21st July 2014:
While this story is written beautifully, George's character has been changed. A lot. I think what we all like about the pair of them was their humor but this letter does not show even an ounce of that humor. George is a changed person altogether but his letter and optimistic accounts suggest that Fred's death hasn't taken much toll on him which brings me back to my main concern: the letters lack humor. They seem to have been written by one of the more mature Weaselys than Fred. And also, I have faith in George and I know that he would never have stayed away for more than a few days. So the way the timing of the letters keeps increasing also seems out of character for George.

I dont think I have cried so much during or after reading any work..this was simply put: beautiful! Losing Snape and everyone else was so damn sad..but Fred was just heartbraking..and then this work of yours just brought out so much pain and suffering that George must have gone through..this is what they must call excellent writing..and my best part was the last line, "Hey George"; BEAUTFIUL

Thank you so much for writing such a beautiful sad story. I also did wonder how George handle his life without Fred. The ending was well written and I admit I did she'd a few tears. I like how the story slowly shows how George feels and how much he cares for his brother. Love it!

Review #19, by Jess Hey, Fred

28th February 2014:
Wow... That was absolutely beautiful. I've never read a more moving one-shot. I was always curious about George and his reactions to his twin's death, and this story is so utterly believable. Not only is it such an amazing story, but it's so addictive!! I felt so much sympathy towards George and what he must be feeling. It's so satisfying to have him die in such an enlightened state. He accepted death and in a way looked forward to it. His conscious grew stronger with is brother's death, and I think that's the most amazing part of your story.
Good luck in the future. I'd give you a 13.5/10 if I could!!

Actually, I've got a WIP centered around Ginny Post-Hogwarts and the first chapter (still awaiting validation) is almost entirely about Fred :) You should totally check it out! But also not if you don't want to :)
I can't wait to read more of your stuff! But most importantly; keep writing! you've got a talent!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! Glad you liked it :) I'll totally check yours out once it's validated.

Review #22, by Suzanney Hey, Fred

17th November 2013:
I cried when I read this. I haven't cried in 2 years over reading anything, and reading this was like the dam just broke. I got up 3 times for tissue before I finally brought the box over to my computer to dry my eyes and nose with. I can't say how much it hurt me to hear George hurt so bad. Each time he talked with Fred was heartbreaking! And his birthday! through me into a fit of sobbing. I haven't lost a single close family member or friend in my lifetime thus far, and even then I still feel pangs of sympathy for George. How horrible to wake up everyday and see your dead brothers reflection in the mirror. His family probably could barely look at him for a while after his brothers death, and it couldn't be easy for Angelina! And family must always pity him! and friends think, "Poor sap, the bloke can't even enjoy a birthday without thinking of his dead brother" I never thought about George and Fred until now... I am so glad to have read this:)

Author's Response: I'm so glad this was so meaningful to you :) It was heart-wrenching to write, too, believe me; I went through plenty of tissues myself. Thanks so much for the lovely review!

Ugh so many things were left unsaid and I cried more every time you said he took longer and longer to visit Fred. Perfect just so, perfect 😭

Author's Response: haha when I wrote this I totally had the same conversation with my mom :D Glad you liked this, and thanks for the review!
