Ah ive been waiting for weeks! whens the next chapter going to be put up/?

I started to write this ages ago and have written up tp chapter ten, but then I've started (literally) five other stories so it takes me agaes to update plus the fact that I haven't written ANY of this for months!! I was thinking of re-writing it because, to be frank, the first three/four chapters are rather crap - seriously! I was reading them the other day and It's like eurghh! And I KNOW just how bloody annoying it is to wait for ages for a new chapter and I a really sorry!

Draco is under such an immense pressure that he hasn't really got a choice, or, if he does defy Lucius, then he will have to endure the wrath of the prior deatheaters! Plus he dislikes Hermione (and the feeling, for now, is definatley mutual!) though he doesn't wish to go to such an extent, but, as I say, he doesn't have that option! Poor Draco!

Author's Response: Thanks! Yes, I know what you mean! I don't really think Hermione, being the level-headed senisible girl she is, would fall for Draco who's the school's Mr Nasty haha! So I've had to soften Draco a little (but OBVIOUSLY he's still the babdoy haha!) and Hermione find's Draco exciting, as much as she hates to admit it! She refuses to acknowledge Draco, even to herself! But the ship is just too tempting to miss!

This is getting better with each chapter. But, I am confused. Is he good and wants to do the right thing. Or, is he bad and just showing a tad of remorse at what he's doing? Or, is that confusion part of your story? :-) I like a good puzzle and this is one. I feel for poor Hermione though. Anyway, keep up the good work. And, please update again soon. Thank you!

Author's Response: Thanks! Ahh, yes, it is a tad confusing isn't it? Draco has always been portrayed and though of as the bad guy, but I think (especially after HBP) that he is doing it out of fear than loyalty of the evil within. He's been forced by his family to become a deatheater against his will, plus he has to endure the wrath of Voldermort and Lucius! On the other hand, he is a bully and takes pleasure in taunting others, but not to the extent in which Deatheaters go to! I can't really say much more without ruining the story; you'll find out soon enough ;)

Yes, Hermione is having problems of her own (I can't explain yet though :P)! She has no recollection of the information she disclosed, nor the sleeping with Draco (in a no sexual sense, of course :P Haha!) and Snape now know's! I love the character Snape; he's such a deep and complex person. I loved how in the end of DH he was actually very noble, and, in fact, always had been. But for Torn he just had to be a deatheater! I tried to avoid it at all costs, but at least this way I can really personify him freely, eh?

Really good! It's nice to see the softer side of Draco sometimes. Keep writing! The thing I hate the most is when authors don't finish their fan-fics!!! Please finish this one :)

Author's Response: Thanks! Yes, I love Draco and I know J.K.R portrayed him as a real 'meanie', but I like to think that it's because of the trauma he has to endure. Being made to be a deatheater against his will, then having to contend with his Father/Voldermort's wrath! Plus, Hermione is very level-headed and sensible so she probably wouldn't fall for him if he was continually Mr Nasty! Yes, I realise she wouldn't fall for him in any instance, but I love the ship too much to be too realistic haha!

I will keep writing; I have four other stories on the go AND a LOT of school work. Don't worry! I will definatley finish this! In the future my updates may be a little slow but, rest assured, it WILL be finished!
