I liked the story a lot, and I like how you portrayed Severus here. The rain and cold were a perfect atmosphere for the story. I was a little confused from time to time about where he was, and I had to read it a second time to figure out that he was at Grimmauld Place. But in the backstory, was he at Grimmauld Place or at the Shrieking Shack. But other than that, you did a really nice job! :-) Report Review
I really, really liked it! Your description is beautiful. I've always wondered what happened when Snape took the letter, and you perfectly satisfied me by writing this missing moment. It's very canon, and I know JKR would agree with it, too!Author's Response: thank you so much! the moment caught me, and i imagined so many emotions in it i couldn't not write it down! oh, thank you! That was so sad. I felt sorry for Severus through all of Deathly Hallows because he was doing all of it for her. Your story caught the essence of Severus's involvment of the plot. You hit his reasoning dead on. After her death, he did everything for her. I think, had he not loved Lily and everything else was the same, he probably would have become a true Death Eater, and Harry would have lost. It's a good thing that he loved Lily. 10/10Author's Response: i know, right? god that man makes me cry D@ thank you! and i wouldn't doubt it. damn snape ): i hate him, but i can't not respect him. thank you again for your lovely review! Run Like Now Or else you will meet your untimely deathAuthor's Response: NOES. :runs: Report Review
Very nice! I like how Snape becomes sort of obsessed with the letter, with that last touchable object that proves she indeed excisted once. It's like he's desperately craving to touch her, even if it is through a letter that wasn't even written to him in the first place. You have conveyed this feeling very well.Author's Response: thank you so much! *hugs tightly* (: xoxoprongsieoxox Report Review
wow this was brilliant. I'm so glad you decided to write about Snape's love for Lily, because his story was a really touching one deserving of being brought to life. And you did it well!Author's Response: thank you so much! :) xoxoprongsieoxox Report Review

I actaully felt sorry for Snape in DH. And now I feel like crying. He was never nice, or even tried to be, but he was once in love. 10 out of 10, because it's awesome, and it nearly made me cry AND I never cry -not even when I read Fred's death in DHAuthor's Response: same :( even if he is an evil git, antihero, person, thing. thank you :) *hugs* i bawled in dh. crying now ^^ xoxoprongsieoxox Report Review

Really good descriptions. Bit confusing, but hey, it's most likely I'm reading to fast! Poor Snape! I wish hadn't died, I had a feeling he would be good in the end.Author's Response: thanks so much :) if you found confusing, or if you have a question, feel free to ask! :) same. :( he was the antihero of the story... xoxoprongsieoxox Report Review
Sob! Such a lovely story! Write more! This is great! It really goes beyond and you'd think JK Rowling would do something like this if the story was about Snape (considering she's probably payed by word lol). Great job! -weirdism ...Author's Response: thank you! sorry, no more will be added to this story. :( i do have other fics, though ;) thanks so much! jk's got that encyclepedia on the go! *yay* and i don't think she cares about the money, to be honest :P xoxoprongsieoxox Report Review

Oh wow, that was so sweet!! I love the description you used and the emotion captivated was really powerful. I really enjoyed the flashback part where Snape first notices the letter to Sirius. I've always wondered after DH, how Snape origianlly heard of the letter, and this puts a good spin it. this was so beautifully written, and deserves a 10/10 :) Oh, and by the way, I don't know if you noticed this or not but for the pairings, it says Sirius/Lily, and I suspect that you mean Snape/Lily. It's not a big deal and I'm just weird like that, as in I always look at the pairings so, just a heads up. Anyways I loved this story so much and it was such a good read!!Author's Response: thank you! :) *hugs* i wondered about it, too, and then *bamf.* a plot bunny bit me. xD. thank you so much! ahhhhh! i put it up so late last night, i must've misread! *runs to change* thanks so much for telling me! *headdesk and cookies* thank you! :) xoxoprongsieoxox Report Review
