Closing his eyes slowly, he imagined that this was just one of Fred's jokes. That he was going to pop up any second and tell them he was only kidding.

^ I really wish it was a joke, you know? Even though it wouldn't have been very funny. I don't see why he had to die. I know some people had to, it was a war, it would make it realistic but Fred?

I enjoyed this. It was really emotional but you still managed to put a little humor in the story with the flashback. I really feel for George but he still had the ability to keep fighting. It was what Fred would have wanted, I think. Excellent job.

I rarely ever check if these old old decrepit stories have reviews anymore :D I'm almost embarrassed someone has read this it's so old and i really cringe at my writing here, but thanks for saying that about this story anyway. I know, Fred's death was the hardest and i really wish he hadn't died but i suppose a Weasley had to have died... there was just so many of them and i couldn't say which one should have taken his place because none of them should've. I always feel really bad for George, you know, being left in the world as a twin would be so hard.

This is really good, very realistic. I think this is exactly how George would have reacted if JK Rowling had written this in Deathly Hallows. Good job!

the worst death in dh for me was so fred... he just wasn't ready to go, if you know what i mean. So i was glad when i found this... a tribute to our hero.

amazingly written, too. i liked the end: Legends don’t die, but men do- and so do brothers...

Author's Response: I know me too, i'm still suffering from it, it is soo bad! He was so full of life, it's sad just to think of it. I had to write this, for the best character around. :) Yeah, i really like that line too, glad i thought of it. :) thanks again. i hope we recover from this. ;)
