This was an interesting beginning! Rather violent, especially on Malfoy's part. I wonder if Dumbledore would have tolerated one of his prefects nearly breaking a first-year's nose while in the same room with him, but I'm digressing. I like the idea of a story explaining exactly how Snape got in with the "wrong crowd," led by Lucius Malfoy, who is obviously very interested in recruiting him for the Death Eaters, as you nicely hinted at the end of this chapter. This was fairly well written. There were a few grammar mistakes here and there, but all in all, the story flowed well and I enjoyed reading it. Nice work!
