This was a pretty good one-shot. I think that you incorperated the "Fate has never been kind to us" thing well to go along with the title. My only suggestion for this chapter would have to be to add more detail. It was missing a little bit of that in there. Show more of Ron's inner deeper feelings. Things that he doesn't say aloud to Harry or Hermione. (Oh, totally random, but I love your banner. Very, very good.)

The only mistake that I found in here was that you said they were married, and then said that they weren't married. I was a little confused there, but I am assuming that they were? Oh, and also at one point you spelled yourself as two separate words.

Other than that it was a great read, as well as a great plot line. =D

awe that was really cute... but i didnt get it, why is Hermione called Hermione Weasley and then near the end, Ron says "I am never going to be given the chance to take her on our first date or kiss her or purpose or marry have kids or grow old with Hermione"- but if they got married, i would of thought that they went out on their first date, wouldnt they? and ron would habe proposed to her... im just a bit confused... nice story ~hlj
