I liked this one a lot. You really get the sense of how war effects people, and how some people are left behind "Waiting, wondering, hoping, and praying". I really enjoyed reading this, and I agree that this would be a wonderful introductory to a story. Very origional. I too am wondering who the "other canon" character is. Will you tell me? Just curious. Nice work.

Author's Response: I'm not so shure myself. I wrote this when I lost my notebook and that's really it. So Yeah. Leave you're mind wide open:)

I thought this was wonderful. It was definitely beautiful, and leaves me hoping to know more. I actually think this would be a lovely introductory chapter to a short story or novella (wink wink). I'd like to know which character is telling this story, as it says "other canon" is the only character. Anyway, I hope you expand this story, because I think you could make it very original and such. I'll add this to my favorites. Keep it up, you have potential to be amazing!
