Review #1, by Weasley twins rock Pacing Through The Past

23rd October 2007:
Could I please suggest something? Is there a way in which you could somehow break your longer chapters up? I mean, I have tried and tried and tried again to read this chapter, but I need to go away for whatever reason and when I come back I can never find where I left off! I honestly think that other people are in the same position and you would get a greater amount of interest if you did break it up. Even if it just meant putting in some more page breaks or something. I have finally managed to read it (of sorts, I may have missed bits out). And once again I love your writing, so awesomely brilliant.
I just wish that it was easier to read in length, in a book it is fine because you can mark your page with a bookmark when you have to walk away, it isn't so easy with this. I notice that your next chapter is shorter, so perhaps I may remember more things to comment on!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review and suggestion! This story my first attempt at writing, so it helps to have your feedback. The chapters are very long. I'm coping with my limited computer skills involving editing; there were some lines/punctuation which were supposed to help break up the last chapter, in particular, and somehow they didn't make it from my original copy to the posted story. The moderators have been very helpful and patient--I may need to impose upon them yet again if I can't do a bit of correction/revising solo. Again, thanks for the feedback!

Review #2, by Weasley twins rock First Steps

23rd May 2007:
That was one hundred percent well and truly amazing! I adored every second of it and I cannot wait to read more, I dread to think how long it took to write it. I have a four chapter novella that is not quite as long as this!
Just one little thing that I picked up on. However amzing Dumbledore is he cannot see what Harry sees in the Mirror of Erised, that is why he asks in PS, to find out. (I am pretty sure that he does anyway).
Apart from that truly brilliant, going straight onto my favourites list and I cannot wait to read more! 10/10

Author's Response: Wow, what a great review-thanks! I was a little worried at first that the chapter was too lengthy. It's good you made it all the way through and didn't seem to mind a marathon read. You're right, Chapter One took awhile longer to write than I'd anticipated. I hope Chapter Two doesn't take as long to write!

haha. OMG! It's really hilarious in between, and the idea is amazing! Young Dumbledore! I loved the part when a portrait says "You're going to liquefy in that fool Pensieve if you don't stay out of it for more than half an hour at a time" I loved it !

Author's Response: I kinda chuckled at the idea of Dumbledore repeatedly viewing his Pensieve memory of Harry being Sorted. It's like someone re-playing their favorite song ad nauseum, and annoying the heck out of the people around them! Thanks for the wonderful review!

I decided to read this b/c it was chosen as the validator's choice. Wow - I found it completely engaging. The relationships between the characters are so rich and spot on. I really can't wait until your next submission!

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it! :D Chapter 2 is in the works...

This is a wonderful first chapter! Very long and full with dialogue and description. I'm surprised no one else has reviewed, considering that is the Validator's Pick of the Week. Congrats on that as well. Interesting plot idea, and it'll definitely become more and more interesting as you continue on.

Author's Response: Many thanks for the kind words! I love writing about Dumbledore, and trying to fill in some blanks about him.
