I just read this fic's companion not a second ago, and this one is just as sad. But good job.

Author's Response: Thank you...if you're interested there is a third out...not so sad. Well, at least I think so..

Thank you for reading and reviewing both fics!

Review #4, by Ydnas Odell Blowing Dandelions

I think this is the story you referred to in your review. My first observation is that it seems much better edited then the other fic of yours I reviewed; so much so that I have to say in terms of description this is one of the best stories I've read and it is right up there in the category of Firefawn and Noblevyne and that ilk.

It is the sort of story that would be good for a Pottercat.

And you did something here that is very difficult, you succesfully portrayed growing insanity.

But the most depressing thing about this story is that Harry just gives up and walks away.

What Ginny needs is a good long hard snog in the arms of the man she loves, but Harry doesn't do the one thing that might possibly break her out of her depression and flood her mind with joyful light.

He should have kissed her, forced himelf on her almost just to breathe back into her the life of joy.

But her melancholy has drained even Harry's love so that Harry see's only uglyness and sadness.

I have to say you are probably the best writer of pure bleakness I've come across on this site. I just kill my characters, but yours live on in a life of horror.

And it largely because in your world Harry has forgotten the power of love.

Excellent job. I'll be depressed for a week. A 10!

Author's Response: Wow! Your review made me literally glow! Thank you so much for the praise! I know, it's a sad, hopeless fic...mostly because, even though I can, as you said, make my characters suffer in their little miserable life, I rarely can do a decent job of killing them.

I'm sorry that now you'll be 'depressed for a week' b/c of my story; but you're review is going to leave me smiling all week!)
