I really liked this! I've been going on a Salazar Slytherin - Founders binge lately and this was just what I needed. Not enough fics concentrate on how each Founder felt at Salazar's leaving. The point about colors was great, too. I actually just thought about that the other day...=)

This is a good story!
I like how you put that the founders were 'in love' with eachother.
Some of my favorite quotes:
The whisper of his name in the wind used to comfort her, now it just seemed to deepen the scars in her heart.


But it certainly wasn’t her intelligent mind telling her that.

After all, he thought with bitter sarcasm, red, yellow, and blue are the primary colors. Green is not one of them.

This is one of the most original ideas I've seen in a long time. I really liked the concept of colours woven in here, it's so blatantly obvious when you think about it but I would never have thought of it.
