Never, in my two years of being here and the many stories I have read, have I ever read something about Christianity. The closest I have came to it is the phrase "Oh my God".
I am a Christian, maybe not a devout one, but I do believe in God and I do pray and go to Mass.
All I can pretty much say is thank you for writing this. It's a beautiful story, and I'm honoured to say it has touched my heart.
10/10.Author's Response: I'm so glad this meant a lot to you. I had originally written it just to get my testimony down on paper. And then I thought, "What a great way to share my walk with Christ! I can post it on here for people to read."
It means a lot to me that it touched you so deeply. That's why I posted it, and it makes me so happy every time I get a review on this piece. Even if I'm not doing my best in life to spread His love, it's still getting spread through this.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review. ^^

This story was powerful... in the sense that it has shown me why people turn to God, for it's always been something I've never been able to understand. I used to be a Christian, but I guess religion was never really for me, for I felt that there was too much commericalisation around it... but if you scratch past that to its most deepest level, I guess events like this story are what you're left with. Good stuff, in other words. :)
It was great to see that she managed to find help through someone, because sometimes I think looking for guidance in a form bigger than yourself can be a lot of help. :)
I don't think I'll ever have a relationship with God, but this story has definitely opened my mind a bit!
Sorry for the waffly review, but I always leave waffly reviews for stories I like. :DAuthor's Response: Thank you so much! This story is actually my personal testimony.
I hate the picture that Christianity is portrayed as in this world now. There are so many people who claim to be Christians, but only by name and they don't actually live it. This is why so many people see Christians as hypocrites, unfortunately.
I'm sorry to hear that you don't have a relationship with God, and I'll be praying for that, but I'm also glad that this touched you so deeply.
And I loved the waffly review. :D They're the best. Thank you!

That was good! I'm so glad you turned your life around. Congratulations! BTW, Remus Lupin was a perfect "other" man. Do you agree w/ how the movies portray Remus? I didn't imagine him that way. I am a Christian also.Author's Response: Wow, very few people have read this piece and actually commented on it. Thank you very much...though I don't know if you will see this response lol.
Anywho, the way the movies portrayed Remus was...not quite what I imagined. I definately did not see him with a mustache lol And I imagine him to look a bit more young but...really tired. Like the books describe. It wasn't perfect casting, but it's not bad either. Report Review
Thank you for this wonderful story integrating church and a tale! It's well done. You might try similar stories in different ways, also dealing with religion, since you seem so in touch with yours. I would love to do a banner for you, just a couple ?s: What actress or model or whatever do you want for Catherine? Do you want a cross in the picture? A crucifix? I assume Remus would be there listening. Anyway, just answer those in your response, and I'll see what I can do for you. I'll still pretty new to banner-making, but all of them thus far have turned out pretty good. If you want to see examples of my work, just look at the stories I've written. All the banners are my own work. Get back to me!Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review. It means a lot to me. =D
Umm, I don't think I want any people pictures in the banner. I think a crucifix would be nice. Either a silver necklace, with pretty white words, dark blue/black background? That's what I'm seeing in my mind right now. Do what you can. I'm sure I'll love whatever you make. =D
Thank you again. Report Review
this was beautiful, i'm not a Christian or Catholic for that matter but i do know how it feels to place your life in God's hands. my mother believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, she goes to church, we are however Hindu's my entire family, but my parents always taught me that there is one God in many forms, and when you wished/prayed to One, They all heard you.
the Lord that i have placed my life into is the Lord Shiva, although i never went into depression i found myself thinking about God more and more, and in turn like you, my first love is Lord Shiva.
but i've bored you enough
i just wanted to tell you what an excellent story you have written and it makes me just want to hug you, really it does. it was beautiful.Author's Response: Wow. Thank you very much. I'm amazed that you opened up to me like that. Haha. I can't say that I believe in more than one God. 'Tis the first commandment that God is the one and only God. I do believe, however, that God is made up of three parts. Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Father. Without one, there is no God. But all together, they are the God I know and love.
Thank you again for the review. =D
woah, unique story. I almost felt a tear. I'll email you soon about the banner :)Author's Response: Thank you lots and lots. =D I'd never seen a story like it and I thought this would be a way I could share my testimony. Report Review
