Hello there!

I really enjoyed reading this story. I think that it was a very unusual and original concept for a one-shot as well, and I honestly haven't seen anything that's like it in fanfiction before. Religion as a topic is generally avoided in the books and I've never seen someone handling the idea of God and Christmas in connection to Harry before. I thought you did it well and very sensitively.

The only suggestions I'd make for improvement are the storytelling at the beginning of the piece; as the story goes on it improves but the initial few lines are a little simplistic, telling rather than showing.

I thought that your portrayal of Harry was really good, though. The emotional turmoil was definitely suited to his mood at this point as he thought about facing Voldemort and all of the different trials that he had to face in the future. You did a great job with this!

This was really very nice! I enjoyed it immensely!

I think the idea behind this is genius. Religion and faith is something JK Rowling doesn't explore in the books. You've done an excellent job of integrating it in without making it too off from what the books were.

Harry's character was spot on. I could definitely see him having this emotional turmoil, about religion and faith. He's known so much death and devestation that faith must be very confusing to him.

I loved the way you wrote this, too! It had an aura of being magical, blending in with a bit of angst. BEcause, after all, who doesn't love angst!

Lovely job!
