Author's Response: This was written as a Christmas gift, actually. An old group of ff writers who got their start on this site and were once staff give stories as gifts at holidays. As to a sequel, I'm afraid I only write fanfic under special circumstances now that I'm publishing my original work.

Author's Response: Sorry to have taken so long to respond. I rarely come here any longer since the only fanfic I do these days are as gifts or challenges. I'm afraid I can't post Company here as the story is currently being rewritten as an original fiction piece. My books are being published these days and Company is being de-potterized since it was the place I created this world I now write in. If you can't get the other archive to work, you can email Britannia or Llewellyn McEllis and they can activate the account for you. I now workshop my original work through Crones and would love to have more "first reader" critique.

WOAH! That was amazing...incredible! I completely love how you did that, and I kindof guessed halfway through that the man in the beginning was James. Well, I love that he was the one that didn't get Lily, I don't think that James deserved her. I'm a complete Snape fan and also a celebrater of the Snape/Lily shipping. Great story...10/10 and I'm adding it to my favorites!
