Author's Response: I know it's a horrible ending... I'm afraid that's what happened though. A fellow author disappeared and I now believe that she died... I wrote this when I was really frustrated over her not responding to emails. I once said that I would write another chapter if she ever came back but that was over a year ago... so I don't think it's going to happen.
