Love yah fict but its so long!

it amazes me how similar i am to keelin. we have the same
type of personality and beliefs. i'm new on the fan fiction stuff { just started
few months ago } and i just found out how to write a story on the web.

Yea, it's the worst. OMG, I'm a bit hyper because The Fray came on the TV there now, and I was like "!" woooP! I love The Fray, I ran around my house screaming when I got their album(!), I just love music I guess.

Wow, your school system does sound confusing... the closest thing to CAPT tests here is the Key Stage exams, which we get at the end of every Stage, except KS4. They give us "levels"... so in KS1, you can get up to level 3, KS2 you can get up to level 5, and KS3 you can get up to level 7+ in english and science and level 8 in maths.
I've got my last ones (KS3's) coming up in May, but they're reallly easy, just basic science, maths and english skills. So I'll be doing nil revision for them ;D and my year are the last to actually DO them, so I'm annoyed because our universitys don't even bother looking at them anyway so they have no point.

I didn't understand
any
of that ramble about your schooling system (what the heck are CAPT tests...??) but oh wells, school troubles are universal. I don't get much homework, because I'm still in the junior part of my school (I live in the UK) (and we only have 4 stages - 2 in primary; or elementary, and 2 in secondary; or high school.) so currently I'm in the 3rd stage, and next year I'll be in the 4th stage, and I have to study for really important exams that are the ones that our universitys look at to decide whether we should be let in or not, which are the year after next, and called GCSEs (General Certificates of Secondary Education) so I have to do well in those, or else I won't be able to do medicine, which you need at least all A's to get in to here. What stage of school are you at?? Are you close to choosing your college!? eek! time flies...
anyhoo, that was my own ramble :D

Author's Response: I live in the U.S. My state requires our schools to take a yearly scholastic test to test the passing rate in all areas (math, science, writing, etc), and determine if the curriculum is doing it's job. In my school- er, well, there's only a handful of kids who pass. Thoses who don't, stay after for remediation. See, up until high school, it's called the CMTs. Then, in tenth grade, its the CAPT test. Ninth graders have to take a practice one. All eleventh- and twelfth-graders get to go home at nine, and not take the test. I'm a twelfth grader, so yeah, I've applied to colleges. I really ought to have decided by now which college I'm going to- my dad keeps bugging me about it- but I can't decide. It's easier for people like my stupid validictorian (and lab partner)- okay, so he's not stupid- he got into to Yale, so of course he's going there. It's so weird, all the smart- honors people in my classes are not the typical brains. You'd be surprised at what goes on in our classes. Intelligent people aren't always so...especially in the last year of school. I- and practically every one in my classes- have been slacking off- especially in Calculus. We no longer complete the homework. Bad, bad classmates! Blame it on senioritis. Woah I just wrote a lot! And most of it is completely irrelevant and probably really confusing. Ah well, you can just skim it, hee hee- Aw, damn! I just broke the "b" button on my keyboard. Now there's like a space inbetween v and n that I have to push with my nail. But you probably don't care...

I've had all the time in the world since my school has CAPT test, and all juniors and senior (who passed, hee hee) get to go home at nine tuesday, wednesday, and thursday for two weeks. I was sick for four days, if that's any consolation. Okay, so mostly I've just been lazy and reading, but hey, I'm a senior, it's what we do! The point of my little ramble is that yes, I've been lazy- forgive me, but I will put up my next chapter soon (preferably today), but who knows when it'll get validated? So...sometime, I suppose

Whowza! Great chapter! I was sitting shouting at the computer because of James and Sirius' pigheadedness...
(my mum was a bit curious as to why I was yelling insults at her laptop... but anyways...)
And I love the way that Keelin is a bit shy about showing her talents, she reminds me of me... lol!
I like Keelin as a character, and you write her very well, in fact you WRITE well, full stop! I have to go to bed now, but I'll read the rest of this story later (I promise!)

Sirius is a sneaky little bugger, isn't he? LOL, I love the way you present him, and how he gets his sticky little fingers into everything! Your characters are really great. I sympathize so much with the main character - she is just so REAL with the things she says and the things she likes and hates, etc... Keep it coming!

In all honesty, I never liked Lily's character, well just the part how she kept rejecting James, but anywhoos, Keel's character is quite awesome ^_^. Great chapter yet again, I hope to read the next one soon. I'm curious if Remus likes her too.
