Hey there!

So.. I just wanted to tell you how amazingly impressed I am by your writing. I saw a topic of yours in the forum and I was like wow! I love her avatar.. Then I thought I would check out your stories and saw how many you have written!! The variety in your ships is simply amazing.. o_0 I am a huge Oliver fan so I decided to read this.

I just love the simplicity of it; you have made Katie's thing for Oliver so adorable and this is quite a powerful one shot. You have everyone's characterization perfect: Fred/George, Oliver, Katie. I loved the scene with Fred and George once they got back inside. The dialogue you wrote for them was perfect!

You have a really great style of writing as well. Your descriptions are so lucid and creative, especially the scene where she first goes out into the rain. It's beautiful. This is one of those great stories that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling :) Its really adorable, I'm sending it to one of my friends to read.

Honestly, I am going to read so many more of your stories and I can't wait! I am really glad I stumbled upon your profile in the forums! I've hardly read any stories with Oliver in them, and I loved to see this.

Author's Response: Haha, awww, thank you SO much! I'm really flattered! I think the reason I've written so many ships (which, now that you point it out, is really a lot XD) is that I like coming up with just one idea of how the characters in the ship get together; so then I pretty much put my all into it, and it becomes my personal canon, of sorts. So thereafter, it's difficult for me to have them get together/interact any other way!

I'm really glad that I got the characterization right, though! I remember being especially worried about Oliver. Ahh, and I can't resist putting in the twins. :3 So anyway, again, thank you so much! I'm so pleased that you enjoyed this! ♥

AH, once again, what a darling story! Today is the first time I've read Katie/Oliver (this story and another of yours)..and I adore it so much. Katie is such a great character and I liked Oliver more and more as the story progressed, I of course REALLY loved the last line...but I especially loved this line too:
(Oliver, however, seemed to remain oblivious of what they were hinting at, and didn’t attempt to release his hold. “Yeah, actually.” His voice was less empty now, and the twins looked impressed at this.)

Awww so cute! this was a funny light hearted fic that i thoughally (is that how you spell it?) enjoyed. that was great, but it would have been so much better if... instead of

"She snorted. “Well, obviously.” Then she softened, her eyes warm. “Look, it’s not your fault, and it isn’t Harry’s either.” She bent down, sinking her knees into the deep puddle that had collected there. “It was those... you know, those dementor things.”"

...she had sat next to him and like put her head on his shoulder or something

also if you hadn't talked about him killing himself, sure he was upset but it made the story a bit depressing. and if katie had said something about him being a great captain and that because he was they were the best team in ages.

so i really liked the story, you are so talented. i'm jealous! keep up the good work.

Aw, that was really cute. I always laugh when I read POA and it says Oliver was probably trying to drown himself, it's probably not very funny but I find things like broken fences hilarious so you shouldn't really trust my sense of humor. 9/10
