You should write a sequel... Really, I loved it. First of all, I think that Peter is probobly the saddest character in the whole HP story and I think you have cought the real Peter Petigrew. After that night he had so many years being a rat to think about his decision.
Stupid, he lost everything, he had, that was worth living for.

Really good. Most writers just ignore Peter (which to be honest, I completely understand) but you did a good job of interspersing the mind of a traitor with the mind of a friend and showing some of his motivation. Impressive.
