I'm glad you've taken this off hold, it seems wonderful. Really fast though. That's about the only thing I can think of that's wrong with it. I almost missed Maddie getting taken away. Try and slow it down a little. 8/10

Interesting ending and a good start, though you should try and add more detail the chapter moved very quickly
