i luv it. it is great beginning of a (what i can find out so far) great story. just one question-will u continue with this story? I had to ask cuz i hate abandoned stories if they are gud (who doesnt?) plz update soon. do it as a favour to a reviewer.
till next chappie the writer in me

Author's Response: No, I don't plan on abandoning this story. It almost got abandoned, but i got a bit of much needed inspiration that got me back on track. I rewrote chapter one, posted it, and I really think I'm gunna finish it this time.

Thanks so much for the review. I appriciate(sp?) it!

Review #4, by Kira My Beginning

2nd December 2006:
Bravo! That was wonderful! Overall I truly truly enjoyed this story with all my heart. While your first reviewer found most of your spelling mistakes, I did happen to..happen upon one. (lol) In the sentence: Dad was sitting at his desk, leaning over numerous manila folders, and scratching furious in one of his notebooks. I believe it should be scratching furiously in one of his notebooks. So furiously instead of furious. I really liked how real you made the story. In some of the fics I've read the parents just get divorced without a discussion or glimpse into what the problem was.

Your fic, however, not only revealed a problem, but revealed a problem that is totally believeable! I love the way you described Edward's job and how he is so passionate about it. I can relate instantly to my dad. I like the idea of a detective! While some seem to think its cliche, I really don't see the idea used very often. And your detective seems to just have a different feel than say..Sherlock Holmes with his magnifying glass. (Though I am sure your Edward is just as brilliant!)

I am very much drawn to this story. I think it has real potential to grow into something even more glorious! Hope this review isn't too long. I have the habit of blabbering...

Well Done!

Author's Response: Oh, no. That's not to long. I love getting long deep reviews!

I do wanna say this, though: Your absolutely right: Edward really isn't a solving myseries' kind of detective, like Sherlock Homes. He's really a 'finding missing people' kind, but Lily will tell you all about that in the start of chapter 2. ;)

Anyway, thank you so much, Kira. I hope to get chapter 2 up as soon as possible (or: as soon as they start validateing again.)

Many thankx

Review #5, by GunslingerExtraordinaire My Beginning

28th November 2006:
Wow. When you gave me the link I was going "Please be good, please be good." Not that I was doubting your loffly writing skills. *Is not.* But because I'm not so good with leaving constructive criticism. But, it's safe to say that the only thing I saw wrong with this was three spelling errors. Up top you misspelled 'pressure', and when Lily's mom left 'tired' was typoed, and 'curious'. - end of grammar correcting bomb - Haha.

Really though, Mickie, I like this alot. It's absolutely original. I don't think I've ever encountered a fic like this before. Puts a whole new spin on why Petunia hated Lily, that's for sure. And I like how you introduced Lily without it having anything to do with how much she hates 'Potter'.

Keep it up. Or Lux is going to punch Linie. In the throat. 0_0. I'm so kidding. haha.

LOFF

Author's Response: Yeah, I can't spell. If SpellCheck doesn't catch it I won't. ;).

Thankx so much. I really adored this idea, but when I first wrote it, a very very good friend of mine told me that she didn't understand it at all. That pluse the fact that I got NO reviews pretty much turned me off and I gave up on it. Anyway, the point is, I really do appriciate your support. Thankx.

I promise I'll post again. ;D . *make's mental note keep Lin more than an arm's length away from Lux, anyway* J/K
Luv ya, Sam
