Finely written. I have read the first part of this series and am very impressed. Valhalla will be considered as a name for my future daughter.

You do see the angry and dissapointed side of Valhalla...great job w. the chapter! Glad your back to writing this story!

Author's Response: Hehe, thank you and I would never abandon dear Valhalla (unless I really do get eaten by sharks, but that is a different story).

Whoa indestructuible "Oh #!" Zombies. I wondered how you were able to get rid of them.Hrmm the horn worries me, however. Can something command them? If so, it sounds terrifying. But anyway, we're onto the King Kong portion of the story.

OMG ZOMBIE FIGHT! Awww, you ended it at the best part! Well if thats my complaint, then its a good complaint. And Severus admits to favouring students.Hah thats supposedly unethical. All in all though, all I can say is...AND THEN WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?!?!?

Author's Response: It's coming lol, I had to leave it for a chapter of it's own so I didn't have like one chapter that is over 4000 words. Expect it to be up soon.

*claps in excitement* I think I've mention this to you before at some point but you are rather excellent at creating tension and excitement...and making your readers hop up and down like kids waiting for an update. Excellent as usual. :-)

Author's Response: Hahaha! I pride myself in it completely, it also helps me as a writer get hyped for writing the action scene (if you know what I mean). The next chapter is in the works and I hope to have it up sooner then it took me to write this one.

I know, I'm in the same boat in my story, action awaits but theres housekeeping to take care of, too. Don't worry though, you manage to keep it interesting enough.

Author's Response: Aww thankies Anth *hugz* and keep at writing your story as well, don't worry about having a chapter here or there without action.

It's getting really interesting! (I'm hanging out for updates) I still can't wait for more pirates/native warriors/Lucius/whatever else you have in store for them!

Author's Response: lol okay good! I was actually afraid that I might be boring some people with this chapter (the pirates are kicking in next chapter though, I promise).

Wow, Valhallas method of dealinf with liars.*wipes tear from eye*

See, you did this last story too, you retold the events of the book, but seamlessly and logically blending in your own characters and storylines. I'm interested now in seeing now the tournament will turn out with another participant, and Slughorn around almost 3 years ahead of schedule.

Author's Response: It's intended and hey, it's AU right? people will show up later or earlier won't they?

20th April 2007:
Sounds like they're going to Skull Island.Only with Zombies! Awesome! But anyway, by now, any reader can see what makes this a full out story, and not just fan fiction: you're not just borrowing people, places, and characters from the books anymore. Except for the two characters of Dumbledore and Snape, everything in this chapter is your own original creation, but in scope and execution, its identical to the actual material contained in the books. And THAT is why you are a great writer, you're not borrowing, you're creating.

Author's Response: Awe you're totally making me blush here, but it's good to know that what I set out to do is actually being accompished and that is an alternate universe view on the HP series.

GRRR!...I'M A PIRATE XD...
...sowwi...yeah it was very good like always...but now it sounds like Harry Potter/ Pirates of the Carrabien {{i can't spell ok...}}/ treasure island {{what I read a lot =P }}

x

Author's Response: Deffinetly not a HP/ROC crossover, you won't see any POC characters in Daughter of Odin. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter none the less.

Review #25, by holly bergman Mors Mortis Bellum

2nd April 2007:
Right...I tried reading this with the site's new april fools "improvements" but I couldn't do it without laughing...I had to switched to the printer friendly version.

That duel was awesome! Snape didn't die and Lucius was put in his place! I was a bit puzzled though...Where did Narcissa and Draco go? I mean...they're not the Weasleys but surely they would care that Lucius might be killed by Snape.

Author's Response: I didn't write Narcissa in simply because if you read This Love, you saw that she would have cared less. I also did this to strengthen my point about what a real relationship is about (i.e. the kind that Valhalla and Severus have with one another). As for Draco, note how I said some students were creeping along in the shadows watching...well in any case, you'll see what I mean in the next chapter, which is so not going up until this prank is over because no one will take DoO seriously o.0 ....like...how can you?
