Very good story. I liked the bit where she "tortured" him for a moment. LOL- A cute, fun story.

Author's Response: Me, too. Harry deserved it for making her be the one to worry! [Even if he wasn't doing it on purpose.]

Review #5, by Kirjava Oh, Canada!

15th March 2004:
If you're planning on writing more fanfiction, why don't you make yourself sound even more like an ass by writing about snooty French people, drunk Russians, and war-hungry Americans? Seriously, I'm guessing that you aren't from Canada, because anyone who called themselves Canadian should be ashamed to have written such a disgusting statement: "Maybe he’ll find himself a nice, fat Canadian witch with wide hips who will give him plenty of fat Canadian children." You ma'am, should be smacked up the side of the head for writing that. I don't care what you hear about Canada or think about Canada, but not all Canadian people are fat or have fat children. I would have been less insulted if you called us all lumberjacks, which is the typical Canadian stereotype. There is absolutely no excuse for calling us fat, and I would think anyone would be embarassed to have written something so false and lame.

Author's Response: There is nothing in there to have really merited such a strong reaction in the first place. In the context of the story, Alicia was thinking that because she thought Harry was taking her to Canada to tell her he was breaking up with her. She was angry at him, so, of course, she was thinking bitter thoughts. By the end of the fic when she realizes that everything is okay, she is happy with Harry and all things Canadian. The point was that it was humor, a joke which served its purpose. Most readers will readily identify humor in context and also realize that there were no grand proclomations of all Canadians being fat. Your level of offense, however, is baffling and shows to me that at least one Canadian (one, not every single citizen) may need to take some humor injections.
