I very much like the style you use to write in, it very much reminds me of film noir. I would like to also comment that perhaps your description can be too over descriptive. Take the first paragraph for example, you describe the air, the heat, breathing, more than once for each. Too much can suffocate the beauty of the prose you are using and take away from the point you are trying to make. I'd definately suggest usuing a site like dictionary.com to help vary the language you use, this of course is just a suggestion, which you can feel free to ignore. I do like your characterisation of Draco, you have captured his tone of voice well. I've enjoyed reading this, let me know when you update.

I take it back, this is my favorite chapter. Your imagery was beautiful, and I have to say that I love Skye. I know nothing about her other than she's extremely beautiful and kind, which would normally make me dislike an OC right away, but there's something about her. I don't know, maybe that's what you want from the readers, because I seem to have the same attitude as Draco. Something about her eyes really hits a right note with me, black with gold? And the graphics are a great touch, I think I might have to look in to getting some. :) Either way, this is coming along nicely. I'm glad you asked me to review your fic, it was a pleasure. "The waft of her hair hit my nose, numbing my senses, the bitter tangy apple scent bringing back old memories and my mind fell into a darker pit. I’m going to kill this girl, I thought. That's very powerful. Great job, I love that bit.

This was the best chapter yet, I think. It's so sad about Desdemona (though the petnames are kind of... odd?) and I could picture that scene perfectly. Poor Draco... I'm excited to read on!

Hey! This is really interesting so far. I loved the opening scene mostly, it set a good tone for the story. I think you've got a strong writing style, and this is a good plot so far! All I have to nitpick about is that you have some punctuation errors, such as putting "Shut up, Potter." spat Draco instead of the correct form: "Shut up, Potter," spat Draco. I'm sure that's nothing that a Beta reader couldn't catch for you. This is interesting--now off to Chapter Two!

This was a good opening, I can picture her apartment completely. I can't tell much about Skye, because I haven't read much. But right away I can see she is unbelievable caring, has a good heart and a neat name, things which might be heading toward "Mary Sue." We will see though as I read on. Great opening, I'm excited to see how the story unfolds!
