I read a lot of Snape stories on other sites, and have become fairly innoculated against the "horrid parents syndrome" for creating a bad egg, but I tried to think of what would be really disturbing to a man like Bill, whose family was extremely loving. And I do know people who turned out very well despite their parents, so I don't think it's impossible to overcome. I appreciate your kind words, and taking the time to read my work.

I'm so glad they made up! I was beginning to think I'd never forgive Fleur for being... well, who she is.

There are some people who haven't the slightest clue how to go about writing dialogue. Then, there are others who might catch it now and again, but are generally either far too verbose, or everything seems unreal and forced. Then, there are the rare individuals with a true flair for dialogue. You, dear, fall within this latter category. It's a talent, and you have it.

That Fleur... oooh I've never loathed her as I do now. And Chryl? Typical female refusing to listen to logic... too emotional. And Bill! Typical male not speaking quickly enough and correcting her.

Oh, this frustrates me!

Upon reading this chapter title, I was totally at a loss for what to expect... silly of me to expect anything less than brilliant, really.

Often time when people create OC's they're not very well done. Cheryl, on the other hand, is simply marvelous! Everything about her, and about their relationship is fantastic.

Aw, Molly is quite the mama bear, isn't she?

I like Cheryl... can't help it. But, Molly has always been one of my favorite characters, so to see her being so obstinate...

This story could have easily been dropped and fumbled in someone else's hands. You make everything flow so effortlessly... I love it :)

Okay, I wasn't sure that this was more romance, or more war/aftermath related or what until this chapter. I'm so in love with this story- the characters come to life and simply drag you along!

I'm sure you've heard it a million times since her creation, but Cheryl is a wonder. Not a hint of Mary Sue... you should be proud, dear. :)

This is very sweet! I'm interested to learn more about Cheryl... Perhaps I should have read the other stories first? I believe I'll have to now... :P

Bill needs someone like this... He's such a great man, honestly. JKR has not given us much detail on Bill or Charlie, and I love to see where other writers take them. There is so much to work with... Plus, I love to see Dumbledore still alive!

Author's Response: Thanks. I am intrigued by the two older Weasleys, as well. And I'm sort of glad JKR hasn't said much about them, as it leaves great scope for imagination. My universe definitely started before HBP, and was forming before OotP as well, at least somewhat. I ended up needing Dumbledore to be alive, though I have toyed with the idea of removing him at several junctures.

Oh my goodness.. I love your Snape. This chapter was wonderful. I can imagine how alone Severus must be feeling. He's lived his life as a spy... a double agent for the order. The label of death eater, though corrected now, will still tarnish him in the minds of some... Although, rofl, the idea of Snape and his sexual innuendos is rather amusing :P

I'm so glad Bill is going to play with him... he's such a doll.

Author's Response: I admit I have a Snape fixation. One of the reasons I haven't written much lately is because HBP threw me off track. (I wrote Sirius Black stories before OotP, but once he was dead I couldn't write another word about him. Now that Snape's a villain, I can't make him behave at all. I was planning a bit of fluff for him, too, but I can't make it do what I want without him turning into a complete stranger.)

I really like the insight into Bill's desire for his own place. So often we hear about the Weasley's as this big family, and while someone like Percy may move out over differences in opinion... no one really delves into the fact that they may just want to be... alone! :)

Author's Response: Yeah, Molly just couldn't bear to let go of her little boy. That was the only REAL problem she had with Cheryl. My mother in law is still convinced she's better for her son than I am-- and there's no doubt she's a better house keeper. I think that's her only real measure, though. She seems to like me otherwise.
