Review #2, by Paloma Patil Not Long Ago

27th December 2005:
Oh - I can really feel the survivors' guilt in this piece, and it just breaks my heart. This is very well done, and the voice is very strong. I could tell it was Sirius before he said his name - that's a good sign that you invoked his character well. Here's a line I was drawn to: "Oh I remember that fiery charm." That's sweet and...evocative, you know? Love it. I also like that there is a sense of faint hope in the final paragraph. It's that faint hope that allowed him to survive in Azkaban, I'm guessing. This is terrific. Paloma

Author's Response: Your my first ever reviewer on this story. Thank you bunches. I did love this peice myself as Sirius is one of my favorites characters
