You know, I'm really kind of numb on this story. I don't really feel Hermoine's reasoning for leaving, although you explained why she felt the need and she even knew there really was no need for it, it just wasn't there. Kind of hard to explain. I'm thinking (and yep, just me thinking....stand back!!) that you are such a H/R fan that it's hard for you to put into words of a "useless good-bye" that doesn't really make much sense. Your other story of Hermoine dying and Ron feeling the pain was so powerful because it's something that could happen. I think you feel it in your heart so much that these 2 will always be together even if death occurs that it's hard for you to be more expressive in a simple thing as a break up. Kudos for your thoughts on this though, great write!!! Hugs
