um wow... I could only cringe at the thought if the finger nail being ripped from the skin and i unconsciously pulled my fingers into my hand as if to protect them. And I know that was only a mere description of the pain she felt. This was a really good tale and I loved it. I loved the ending and knowing that all three souls (including the other family) were together in the end. Even a soul that didn't really get to live.

Author's Response: Well. It's actually from Ginny's perspective, the story set about a month after she finds she is pregnant (it might be sooner, I haven't read it in a while) with Harry's child. It is the aftermath of the Last Battle, the one in which Harry finally defeats Voldemort but is himself defeated afterwards by Bellatrix Black's dying breaths. Ginny is left with the wreckage of her life, everyone she loves is dead, and along comes Lucius Malfoy with some Dementors that sides with Voldemort. The taunts her for a bit, and enraged by her defiance has the Dementors Kiss her. It describes the Kiss itself and then how hallow and clueless she seems afterwards. Medics arrive soon after, and inform Fudge, who is surveying the wreckage, that it is inhumane to let her live, as she is pregnant and her child is now, also, soul-less. Therefore Fudge, who is himself a very weak person both politically and guts-wise, must be the one to kill her and relieve her from her emptyness. Her soul is not lost, however, due to it's recent departure, and she finds herself at Home- in Heaven, she finds her house in the Burrow there. Coming in, everyone is there, as if waiting for her, and they have a reunion, especially between herself and Harry, and she holds in her arms their baby, not unborn and malformed but an infant and healthy. The story ends here, and we assume that they are to all exist together in Heaven, basically, forever.

Long explanation, I know, but you get it now, right??! :P
