Interesting. I'm not entirely sure I believe that Uncle Vernon would physically abuse Harry, just because Uncle Vernon would KNOW that he'd get his butt kicked. It's tough to say, I think he might be rough with Harry, but actually beat him...eh. Anyway, keep it coming, I'm looking forward to reading what you have to say!

Author's Response: You know, I'm not entirely sure he would beat Harry either, especially on his own. But there are just two things I ask you to remember as you read this story. 1. This is before OOTP and since Vernon has had free reign with Harry since he was left on the doorstep, I see nothing that would cause him to believe that would change. And 2. Almost anyone can be persuaded to do something with the right amount of money or magic.

Another excellent chapter! I hope you finish the story for me, because I'm in suspense! Obviously you're writing your own version of events, but it's very clear that you have an excellent grasp of the characters. Your grammar and spelling are also above average, thank God.

Author's Response: Thanks so much, I try to keep the gramer and spelling above average. I was reading over it and noticed some things I need to fix but I just haven't gotten around to them yet.

This is a really good chapter, I like the thought process that you've gone through. This chapter is well written, thought provoking, and makes me wish for more. I'm left with so many questions, and hoping I see the answers to them soon.
