This is a great chapter and all, but doesn't making Ron Harry's replacement kinda contridict his punishment?

Author's Response: Yes, you're right. But, Professor McGonagall put Ron as a replacement for a reason. I know what you mean. It doesn't make sense how - Ron's the reason Harry can't play and be captain...and now he becomes the replacement. Maybe McGonagall didn't choose the replacement....

Oh, this is so bittersweet! Poor Harry--having to find the key to his power and having to defeat Voldemort in less than a year. Not to mention he's already dying, Ron hates his guts, and his growing feelings for Hermione. Doesn't look like the guy ever gets a break! I like the way you're doing this story--not a rushed romance like I've seen in a lot of romance stories. (There's no doubt in my mind that if Harry's going to fall in love, it would take quite a while--so you're portraying it very well!) If you're taking ideas for songs for Harry to write down in his journal, I've got a suggestion: 'Weapon' by Matthew Goodband--it fits Harry's feelings of him being used as just something to beat the bad guys. (If you don't know the lyrics and want to know what they are, just tell me and I'll leave them in another reveiw!) Thanks for reading! --HSL

not being able to walk, and do the things he wants, makes him feel like he is not whole. As long as he feels this way, even the idea of being in love with someone will torture him making him feel less of a man. I hope he can get his legs back under him and begin to heal. Then, and only then, will he feel whole again. I am sorry for Hermoine. She is in love with him and he is in love with her but there is too much pain going on right now.
