I am having trouble following the story. How is it Harry and Snape have understandings different than the books. Do you have a story prior to this story to fill it in>>?

Author's Response: This one was written before books 6 and 7 so that might be part of the problem. There isn't anything ahead of this one in my series.

I must say - I was quite surprised that Harry gave his answer so quickly, yet Snape's reaction deeals with that really well. Again, you write the characterisations and situations brilliantly and the relationship, although a weird concept at first (Snape adopting Harry) you have really made it work and I am so engrossed within this story.

Although presented very well, it's a bit quick! His friends' family situation appears as the key, which doesn't fit to the otherwise so thoughtful Harry. Maybe some night-time/morning thoughts [does he know me well enough] could be revealed? YES, I share Snape's uneasiness about McGonagalls dry logical arguments " how much busier we would be..". It is quite true that also in JKR's plots she has even less emotions than Snape - less tirades of anger, but also less positive ones. You follow this well and it is certainly persuasive to Harry!

Man, nice chapter title... It so matches, and I knew what Harry was going to do after the title. I still think it's a bit wierd and unlikely about Snape and Harry, but I'm just so engrossed in this story now, that I didn't even want to go to bed at midnight last night so I could keep reading.

Your story was recommended by Pumpkin Juice, so I felt the need to read it and see what it as about. I must say, this is one of the best stories I've read on here. I love stories with Snape and Harry and this is wonderful. It has brought a tear to my eye since I began reading it to this point.
