Okay, third review. Here we go. I'm gonna try to do this one as I read and hope that makes this easier since these chapters are so long.

First off, those are some awesome gifts. How you manage to go into such detail about everything, even with all the charms put on the jewelry set is just beyond me. I bow down to you. And Terry's gifts were really cool with the books and the journal they can use to communicate with, I wonder where he got the idea for that.

I kinda love the fact that the Slytherins spend Halloween dressing up and getting drunk, it seems very unlike them, yet like them at the same time. I don't know. I love how Terry and his friends snuck in and turned almost everyone into Malfoy though! Too bad there wasn't a scene where Malfoy actually walked in to see it all because that would have been priceless. Although I have to wonder what Tor's housemates would think if they saw what appeared to be Malfoy leaving their dormitory in the early morning hours... that seems like it could end very badly for Tor...

I'm very curious to read on but I'm really tired and it's late so it will just have to wait unfortunately.

Anyway, I am really enjoying this story. I'm still a little lost, because it's been so long since I read the first seventeen chapters or so, but I think I'll be caught up eventually. I'm very glad I returned to continue this!

Pretty much the only good thing about the end of my vacation is that I can continue with this story. Another great chapter. I like how you picture the students' life at Hogwarts. Despite everything, they're still just teenagers having fun with their peers. That's what I miss in a lot of stories.

Author's Response: Hello! :) Aw, yay!! I'm so excited that you're still enjoying the story and of course that reading this makes you happy. I'm glad you liked this chapter and their ordinary lives: those chapters are so fun to include and important since it shows how they still do have fun. Thanks so much for a lovely review!

Hi again, my dear!

Wow, Tor got some great gifts for her birthday! She's a spoiled little Slytherin princess, isn't she? Haha but I do love the descriptions of the presents that she got. I liked the mention of Theo's wand kit, and the fact that he wants to be a professional wandmaker; you're so skilled at adding real depth to these characters that aren't often seen in canon, and are shown from Harry's biased view.

Terry's gift was definitely the most creative and the best! He's a true Ravenclaw, giving her books and thinking of a way that they could communicate even when they're not together - it'll be useful over the holidays! The books that he gave her will hopefully help her become more open minded, when she sees how wonderful Muggles can be by producing some brilliant works. I know I keep mentioning the fact of her opening her mind and becoming less prejudiced, but I really want her to reject the pureblood mantra. At the same time, though, I worry that Terry's going to die, because I can't imagine Tor ending up with Malfoy if Terry was still alive...

That prank! I think you must have fun planning these. The prank that they pulled on Griz was completely overshadowed by this one, and I like the idea that there is another side to the bookish way that Ravenclaws are normally portrayed, pranking the Slytherins. I loved this prank so much, and it really made me laugh. I wonder if you're foreshadowing a bit, with Tor cuddling up to Draco? I think my favourite part was probably the Draco that was preening in the mirror. I'd have loved to see the real Draco's reaction to so many copies of him in the common room!

Sian :)

Author's Response: Hello, my awesome friend and reviewer who I have been sadly neglecting! :( I love all your reviews, and this was of course no exception!

Tor really is a little spoiled brat, haha, but I love her anyway and I'm also jealous of all her presents. I'm glad you liked the little details about Theo, I feel that I'd been neglecting him in recent chapters since Tor is so focused on Terry now. I'm also so happy you think the characters have depth! :)

I would have loved Terry's gift myself, which is why I thought it would be great for Tor to receive. He is such a Ravenclaw, and of course she loves that about him as well. I definitely agree, I want Tor to look beyond the pureblood sphere and art and literature are often vehicles to learning and broadening the mind. As for what will happen, well, we'll find out... eventually...

Haha, I do love planning these, and I'm glad you enjoyed this one. There's something so useful about Polyjuice potion, and so many possibilities for mischief! I'm glad you liked the little twist on the Ravenclaws, and interesting prediction about the foreshadowing! Haha, I wish I could have written it as well, I'm sure there would have been hell to pay! I imagined he'd be too busy panicking for his life in the RoR to notice anything much, however! :P

Thank you for another wonderful review dear! I'm slowly working through your amazing reviews whenever I get a chance, but receiving them really means so much to me! :)

Haha, I'll admit that I felt quite silly, but as soon as I read that Tor got a dress for the New Years ball at Malfoy Manor, I got overly exited and now I can't wait to read that chapter!!! :

I loved all of her gifts, but especially the ones from Terry. He's just so sweet. The notebook was great - it was sort of a mixture between a two way-mirror and online chatting :) Then I was reminded of the fact that Terry's middle name is Hyperion (it is, right?) and I just had a feeling that Tor will give her son that middle name because Terry died :( My current theory about the people dying is that Daphne and Terry will be in danger, and Tor will only be able to save Daphne. :( I do want her to end up with Draco, but I think that she'll only do that if Terry dies - because after the war, it would have been at least POSSIBLE for the two of them to be together. No, her parents would not approve, but still... yeah, that's just my theory. I know that you can't reveal too much ;)

I loved Terry's prank on the Slytherins! Although, I really wanted to see the real Draco's reaction to it. Perhaps in the next chapter? But other than that, it was absolutely perfect! I'm glad that Terry and Tor got to spend her birthday together after all!

I read on the forums that you were planning on turning this into a triology. I think it sounds like a great idea! Would the first one be about this school year, the second about her next school year and the last one about after the war? Haha, I'm sorry for being so curious! It's just that I adore your writing and I'm so exited about all this :D

A brilliant chapter, once again. I just want everyone on this site to know how AWESOME this story is! I can't wait for the rest!!! :)

Author's Response: Hola! I'm really excited to hear that you're excited about the ball!! :D That's actually the part I'm working on now, and looks like it's going to be full of drama and angst, haha.

I loved her gifts from Terry too! The notebook was definitely inspired by those things-- I also thought of Riddle's diary and the DA galleons as being inspiration as well. Hmm, those are interesting predictions... :) Honestly, I'm not 100% set on what exactly will happen. Killing off any of these characters would be absolutely heartbreaking for me!!

Yay, I'm happy you liked Terry's prank, I thought it would be such a strange sight. My thoughts were that the real Malfoy was probably holed up in the Room of Requirement stressing over the Vanishing Cabinet: poor kid has a lot on his mind!

Ah, yes!! It's funny, I keep imagining scenes from the future of this story when I should be working on the upcoming chapters. I already have a, like, epilogue to the final book written out, which if it does see the light of day would require several thousands of typing to precede it! I'm thinking that the first book would go until Christmas of Tor's fifth year (so, a year and a half from when this story started, and coming full circle to the prologue), and then the second book would probably be until the Battle of Hogwarts, or a bit later... but we'll see! I hope this answers your questions though, hehe! :)

Thank you so much for all of your great reviews, and for being not only my most consistent reviewer but quite possibly my favourite!!! :P I love getting reviews from you, and it's so flattering that you enjoy this story. Next chapter is in the queue, and is as long as these past couple of chapters have been!! :)
