You've got old Phineas down really well. Git!

This was great, I loved the humore intersperesd throughout, especially the witch jumping up on her chair, which got all the male portraits attention.

It would not have surprised me in the least if Phineas had refused to help against the Death Eaters. I thought this was all very well done.

This was hilarious--I love the idea! I thought that you had Phineas's characterization spot-on, and he really came across like a portrait. I loved him near the end with the ex-Headmistress Lestrange, it was so incredibly funny. The exchanges between Yaxley, Bellatrix, and Phineas at Grimmauld Place was hilarious as well--I've never read about that side of the beginning of the battle before, and it was quite entertaining. Bellatrix Stunning Yaxley was too funny for words, not to mention his comments on black frizzy hair. xD

So, I loved it! What an original idea. :)

Nice story.
I never liked Phineas "the most hated headmaster in Hogwarts", according to Sirius, and you'r reinforcing my prejudices.
But the canon freak inside me insists that I remind you that Phineas' portrait at Grimmauld place was, in fact, inside Hermione's beaded bagat the time of the battle. :-O
