so sad that Snape died but at least he died a hero and harry let go of hid hatred of the man enough to name one of his sons after him in the future. HORRAY FOR SNAPE

Such a brilliant story. I'm surprised by how sad all these stories are, and how well written they all are as well.

From the first line, it was already clear to me that it was Snape. You didn't even have to mention him. "Lily's eyes" instantly told me. I find it hard to be in Snape's mind, but you did a great job. It was really interesting reading it from Snape's perspective, and I really liked it when he turned out to be a good guy. I thought you kept his personality quite realistic as well. And I love how you explain Snape's last words. I never really thought about why he'd want to look at Harry's eyes. But you gave me a reason, and I liked that!

And now, you've made me feel sorry for Snape! Loved it :)

I like this excursion into Snapes mind and I think that you have his thoughts and regrets down well. There are, however, a couple of points where it simply does not sound like Snape's inner voice to me. I simply cannot hear Snape saying (or thinking): "a certain group of" or "people from all over hated him"
