Ok now I am crying.
This is beautiful! I'm so glad that Lily came to meet him in the afterlife and told him that she forgave him a long time ago. I can't believe that he kept calling himself a coward if only he could see just how brave he was! And that line when he said he wish he was brave enough to love him. :-(
I'm so glad that Lily and Snape are back together in the end, they should never have stopped their friendship.
You're so amazing for writing this.

That was a really interesting POV, I thought. I've read Snape post-death POVs before but never one that was so heartwarming for him - more the opposite, actually. But maybe she would forgive him, and maybe she would be able to give him hope like that. It's not something I ever really considered but you wrote this so well that I can't help but think about it now. He WAS brave, but I can see why he would consider himself a coward and I really do think you've got that one spot on. Great job!

cheers, Mel

This is simply lovely. I adore the whole concept of Snape's unrequited love for Lily, and this captures the complex emotions of that situation perfectly.

I love how you have the conversation between Snape and Lily - him thinking his responses, and her dialogue responses. This really works, and adds a surrealism to the encounter, which is good for helping the overall tone.

I love the short, clipped sentences too - it adds to the overall characterisation, and makes everything more forceful and brutal. Overall, the characterisation is great, both of Snape in his self hatred, and Lily in her compassion.

Nice one shot!

Wow. This one seriously took my breath away. I genuinely think this is a great piece, and so well written.

There's a few on Snape's death, but I really enjoyed reading your one! It's sad that Snape thinks he's a coward, but the end revelation is great. It's a bit weird that Snape died, and already Lily's telling him that Harry's naming his son after him... I mean, Harry wouldn't have made that decision so early, but it fits in with the story, so it's no big deal!

I love how Lily forgives him, and the last line was the perfect ending. I loved this story!
