Neville and Pomona make a fabulous team! they should fight crimes!! Their use of the plants is just genius, they must have so many that can cause pain such as bubotubers andthe devils snare.
I loved that they could use curses to move the devils snare however they want, I can just imagine it reaching out and snatching at death eaters.
Brilliant! I love it!

Well, it's certainly how they would fight a battle! Overall, this is a really interesting piece, in that it gives us a view of fighting without being focussed on the usual duelling. I love how this pulls us straight into the mind frame of a herbology lover, as well as providing truly unique action sequences!

As someone who is extremely cautious of any use of the Unforgiveables, I like how you've managed to use one without stirring the conscience too much. Of course, part of me wonders at how said plant feels about being forced to strangle set people now, but that's just me being too bleeding hearts. Still, potentially a line about how Neville 'knows that the plant would be perfectly comfortable with the required commands' would help to separate the action from the slightly unappealing concept.

I really like how you've chosen to both start and end the piece with dialogue. It helps the reader to get right into the action, which is important when said action is in the thick of it from the start. It also helps to make the story feel complete in itself, while encouraging the reader to imagine what's happening on either side.

Overall, a really enjoyable and unique take on the battle.

I love it! Imperiusing Devil's Snare to make sure it only attacks the bad guys. Brilliant, and your explanation of how the curse could work on a plant was spot on. You really had Pomona Sprout here, I think, thinking so creatively about how she could get the resident flora to do its bit in the battle. And why not? When you're outnumbered, you have do use everything you can to stem the tide. Excellent use of Neville, too, with Pomona still teaching him to the last, though at the last it's more about warfare and strategy than strictly just Herbology. Just fantastic - loved every word.

cheers, Mel

This was great!

I love how much Sprout is relishing this, her cackling, her sheer joy at bombing the Death Eaters with the contents of the "Wheelbarrow of Magical Wonder." That totally cracked me up. Entirely too much fun.

But I must say the idea of imperiusing Devil's snare was Brilliant! Very creative.

I enjoyed this quite a bit

Sprout and Longbottom Save the World! Haha, this was a really nice little fic. I liked that it wasn't too dark. It had a bit of whimsy and lightness to it. And the idea of Devil's Snare being Imperiused, well, that's incredibly clever! Well done. This was a fantastic little read(:

This is great! I loved reading about Neville and Sprout! It was interesting to read because using plants to fight isn't what you'd normally do!

I especially love how Devil's Snare can be imperiused! That's such a cool idea! Great work!
